About the position of HBO Graduate Intern HRM

What to expect of the HBO Graduate Intern HRM position within Huisman?

We offer a challenging internship within an international organisation, where the key focus is on innovation, quality, flexibility and creativity. Are you looking for a role where the journey of employees takes centre stage? A project, which allows you to be a part of the process of introducing a newly hired employee into an organisation? Yes? We have found the perfect new co-worker! And with that, the application process has officially been completed, the contract has been signed, and the relevant department knows your start date. But then…. communication stops until the first day of work. Now starts the pre-boarding phase: the moment between signing and the first day of work. Practical information is fundamental to this phase. This is just the right time to proactively contact the new colleague, be on hand to answer questions and queries, and let new employees know that we and the team are excited about their arrival. In the interim, we give the new colleague a head start by giving them access to relevant reading material, presentations, or company guidelines. That way, they hit the ground running. Optimal pre-boarding gives the employee more control over the first three months in their new job and makes them feel responsible for their own success.

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for students with guts; someone who dares to make their internship highly personal. Someone who has their own ideas and who likes to take the initiative. You should be creative, dynamic, and able to work easily both independently and in a team. If this sounds appealing to you, then we have an exciting internship assignment at our Recruitment Department for fourth-year students.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to look at our organisation through fresh eyes. You have already accumulated a lot of knowledge during the theoretical stage of your studies and are now looking to put your skills into practice. You will be given ample room to come up with your own initiatives, as well as great development opportunities.

  • An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
  • A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
