What to expect of the Recruitment Business Partner position within Huisman? 

Recruitment is a profession. Especially at Huisman, because we combine talent development and recruitment. In addition to a 360-degree recruitment role, you also maintain active contact with department managers to discuss "the bigger picture". Not only discussion which candidate is a fit for now, but also in the future. How do mobilize employees internally? And which talented employees of today will be the successors of tomorrow? What education and training is needed for this? Do you consider yourself a High Potential within HR? Then I'm curious about your story. Personal development and education opportunities are part of the deal. What do we expect of you?

You are responsible for the entire recruitment and selection process for various disciplines. You have the ability to communicate at various levels: from technical to commercial and from starter to manager. You are not only the sparring partner of the managers but also think along with them. You know how to move quickly between different target groups. If you have found the right match, then your task is not over because we like to keep new talent within our organization; you will also focus on talent management, internal mobility and succession.

Our goal is to turn new talent into satisfied employees who we can offer a good careerpath. Furthermore, you are responsible for:

  • Make an internal inventory of vacancies per discipline;
  • Aligning vacancies and recruitment strategy with the business;
  • Create vacancies and share them through various recruitment channels;
  • Proactive search for the right candidate;
  • Follow up on the complete procedure;
  • Drawing up a development plan together with the employee;
  • Proposing improvements within Recruitment and Talent Development at HR.

Wondering if you are 'equipped for impact'?

You have:

  • A relevant Master's diploma;
  • Affinity with Huisman's equipment or like to work in a technical company.
  • The ability how to set priorities, even under pressure;

You are:

  • A strong communicator with a commercial insight;
  • Available at least 32 hours a week.

Some practical things we need you to have:

  • An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands.
  • A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
