About the position of Facility Coordinator Soft Services

What can you expect from the Soft Services Facility Coordinator position within Huisman?

As a Soft Services Facility Coordinator, you focus on the following result areas within Soft Services: policy development, supplier and contract management, quality improvement, project management, advice and reporting. In consultation with internal customers, you identify the requirements and translate them into a solution in collaboration with the suppliers. You set up a project team consisting of users and stakeholders, for example legal/supply chain/HR/HSE. You start the tender procedures together with the project team, evaluate current agreements and make adjustments where necessary. You manage the planning and budgets and bear financial responsibility. Throughout the process, the Facility Coordinator is the connecting factor between internal customers and suppliers. You are responsible for all communications with the internal organisation about the implementation of projects and services.You do all this at a location where office and production come together.

What do we expect of you?

As a Facility Coordinator, you ensure proper procurement, implementation and execution of the services and products within your area of interest. You also ensure that the services and products match customer demand and the organisational objectives in the short, medium and long term.  

  • You are service-oriented, customer-oriented, resilient and flexible, you are able to adapt quickly and you can set clear frameworks;
  • You are decisive, enterprising and inventive, you identify opportunities and are aware of trends and developments in the industry.

You are:

  • Proactive and flexible;

  • Customer-oriented and problem-solving.

You have:

  • At least three years of relevant experience
  • Completed a University or Bachelor degree in Facility Management.

Some practical things we need you to have:

  • An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
  • A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
