About the position of Global Manager IT Operations
As Global Manager IT Operations you are, together with your teams, responsible for the global and overall management of IT operations to ensure delivery of timely and effective IT services that meets the expectations agreed with your internal customers.
What do we expect of you?
As Global Manager IT Operations you’ll have a strong commitment of delivering exceptional customer service and are able to embed that within your teams. This involves monitoring and analysing service provision, planning the processes involved in service operation. You’re not afraid of change, adjust when necessary but always maintain control.
As Global Manager IT Operations you will;
- Manage IT operations on a global level effectively;
- Ensuring operational performance, capacity, risk management and implementation of future strategy;
- Manage and coach the IT Operations Teams;
- Promote awareness and ensures adherence to all policies & procedures;
- Propose and/or implement innovative ideas and standards to enable the business;
- Recognize and manages process and technology risks (operational and IT risk) and ensures compliance;
- Manage vendors and contracts;
- Manage the IT operations budget.

You are:
- Customer-oriented;

- Result-oriented;
- Willing to travel abroad.
You have:
- A Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in an IT management function;
- The ability to operate in a changing environment;
- Profound knowledge in ITIL and Prince2 or equivalent;
- Excellent Dutch and English skills, both verbal and in writing;
- Experience within organisations with similar dynamics and culture.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
- A driver’s license.
