About the position of Senior IT Engineer Cloud & Collaboration
What to expect of the Senior IT Engineer Cloud & Collaboration position within Huisman?
Working as a senior cloud engineer in the global IT team ‘Cloud and Collaboration’ at Huisman means you are responsible for all Azure Cloud solutions within Huisman. What do we expect of you?
As Senior IT Cloud Engineer, you will handle support requests, and you will be responsible for managing technical Azure environments within Huisman.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance and support for Azure Hybrid Cloud environments;
- Designing and developing Azure Cloud solutions;
- Answer complex and technical questions;
- Lead and participate in (lifecycle) projects;
- Create technical design documents;
- Perform impact analysis for changes;
- Identify, address advice about risk and single-point-of-failure areas that might impact availability;
- Troubleshooting.

You are:
- Responsible and takes ownership;

- Result and client-oriented.
You have:
- Bachelor level of education (Hbo);
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Azure services;
- High proficiency in Azure DevOps and available CI/CD tooling;
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Azure Bicep are a pre;
- Experience with container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Microsoft Azure certifications;
- ITIL Foundation;
- Prince2 or equivalent;
- The ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
