About the position of Hydraulic Engineer
What to expect of the Hydraulic Engineer position within Huisman?

What do we expect of you?
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of hydraulic systems and components. You will work closely with other engineers and departments to ensure that our hydraulic solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
This means you will be responsible for:
- making calculations of hydraulic designs for heavy (offshore) systems;
- making system, basic and detailed designs;
- defining specifications for purchased parts;
- designing with a focus on: performance, space optimization, energy efficiency and operator interaction;
- assisting with putting the system together and making it run.

- a team player, you enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and have the ability to work independently;
- flexible and creative;
- objective oriented and focused;
- practical, accurate and punctual.
You have:
- a Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering or extensive experience with hydraulic systems;
- experience as an Engineer within the (heavy) engineering, offshore/maritime sector or steel construction is a plus. This position is also suitable for a starter;
- great affinity with or interest in complex systems;
- the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- an EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- a good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
