About the position of Facility Servicedesk Employee

What to expect of the Facility Servicedesk Employee position within Huisman?

As a Facility Servicedesk employee, you are responsible for handling all facility questions, requests and malfunction reports. You ensure that our employees and visitors can find themselves in a well-organized, safe, and comfortable environment.

What do we expect of you?

Other tasks and responsibilities:

  • Answer Facility questions from employees and external parties via telephone, e-mail, and our Facility management information system (FMIS);
  • Register, follow up and coordinate facility requests, such as malfunction reports, reservations of meeting rooms, support for events, orders of office supplies and maintenance requests;
  • Ensure smooth handling of technical problems by directing our operators or external suppliers;
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment by timely following up on safety and maintenance procedures;
  • Provide administrative support, such as processing purchase orders and maintaining the facility planning.

Wondering if you are 'equipped for impact'?

You are:

  • Stress-resistant and good at setting priorities;
  • Well organised and able to switch between tasks quickly;
  • A team player who can also work independently. 

You have:

  • MBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of facility services;
  • Experience in a similar facility function;
  • A customer-oriented attitude, with excellent communication skills;
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to quickly switch between different activities;
  • Good knowledge of facility management systems (FMIS) or the willingness to learn this.

Some practical things we need you to have:

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing;
  • An EU passport / valid work permit for the Netherlands.
