What do we expect of you?
As a Mechanical Routing Engineer you are responsible for design of piping, cable routes and access. Your work is multidisciplinary and no day is the same. Your job consists of:
- Making Access & Outfitting Designs on system/basic/detailed level of complex systems;
- Indicate priorities (Interface, E-Rooms) in the design;
- Decide the level of required detail within a project/design based on project requirements;
- Impact analysis & system overview over the whole system;
- Acting pro-actively towards all the stakeholders to come to a cost effective design.

You are:
- Analytical and have a systematic way of working;
- Able to perform effectively under time pressure;
- Result and client orientated;
- Proactive and familiar with new developments within your expertise;
- An excellent communicator;
- Practical, accurate and punctual.
You have:
- a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience as a Mechanical Routing Engineer, within the offshore/maritime sector. We are also open to a candidate who wants to learn this profession;
- Pre to have experience of designing in 3D CAD package;
- Great affinity with or interest in complex mechanical systems;
- The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize.
Some practical things we need you to have:
• An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
