About the position of Credit Controller (Services)
What can you expect from the Services Credit Controller position at Huisman?
As Credit Controller, you are involved in international accounts receivable management.
You are the first point of contact within the Services team regarding the accounts receivable portfolio. Within your team, you work closely with colleagues from operations, aftersales and finance.
You manage the accounts receivable process in the broadest sense of the word. The role is evolving, and initiatives and proposals for improvement are appreciated and encouraged.
You take care of demands for payment and reminders, both by telephone and in writing, in order to minimise the accounts receivable due balance and hence credit risks. You motivate and move customers and colleagues to take quick action.
You also see to the compilation of clear and concise reports on days sales outstanding, agreements made and any disputes.

What do we expect of you?
It is essential that you manage your duties and priorities efficiently. You are responsible for minimising arrears. To this end, you build good relationships with our customers and colleagues internally. You discuss and propose solutions that offer the best outcome for both parties.
You are an enthusiastic go-getter, who understands and can contribute to the operation and execution of our work. A coordinating role with regard to the execution of Service visits to our customers is also a challenge that you are keen to take up when colleagues in your team can use assistance.

You are:

You have:
- A completed education in a financial field;
- Preferably at least 3 years' experience in credit management, such as accounts receivable management, credit controller or credit collector;
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in the maritime or offshore industry;
- Eye for detail;
- Problem-solving mindset.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
