About the position of Technical Facility Coordinator
What can you expect from the position of Technical Facility Coordinator at Huisman?
For our location in Schiedam, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Facility Coordinator. In this versatile position you ensure that all work relating to the maintenance and management (renovations) of our buildings and technical installations runs smoothly. As a member of the Facility and Maintenance department, you advise the Service Desk on questions regarding current reports and you tackle second-line issues. Together with the Hard Service Coordinator, you coordinate a range of projects that ensue from the multi-year maintenance plan, refurbishments and improvements. In these projects you instruct suppliers or internal operators.

What do we expect of you?
You have a passion for maintenance and housing-related projects and the ability to look after 30,000 m2 of production halls, 10,000 m2 of offices and 90,000 m2 of grounds. You combine technical know-how with organisation skills. You know how to critically question suppliers about the work they perform and are energised by contacts with internal customers within the organization.
Wondering if you are 'equipped for impact'?
You are:
- a spider in the web, capable of pivoting rapidly;
- the translator between end user and supplier.
You have:
- a completed bachelor's degree in Architecture and Construction Engineering or equivalent;
- preferably a completed NEVI training;
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in an organisation with a production facility.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
