About the position of Project Lead Supply Chain Trainee
What to expect of the Project Lead Supply Chain Trainee position within Huisman?
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for making sure that Huisman Equipment projects are delivered. You'll also be keeping an eye on purchases and outsourcing for the project team. Plus, you'll be managing potential risks to the project proactively. You'll do this by tracking deadlines (both internally and externally) and reporting on your scope in project meetings.
As a trainee, you’ll start your career with our Supply Chain Project Lead Trainee programme, under the supervision of our more experienced colleagues. You’ll work closely with colleagues around the world, and your development in terms of knowledge, experience and internal network is vital in this programme.
What do we expect of you?
As Project Lead Supply Chain at Huisman Equipment, you will manage deadlines and the planning process for the entire project. This role emphasises the importance of foresight and proactive management.
As soon as Sales indicates that a prospect’s lead is evolving into a potential order, you will represent the Supply Chain department. You will work with other departments to form a project team. You will ensure communication, deliveries and coordination across all relevant departments to meet project goals.

You are:

- Decisive and able to take action independently, even when all information is not available;
- Customer-oriented, thinking along with customers to provide suitable and proactive solutions;
- Results-oriented, setting goals and achieving them through determination and strategic planning.
You have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher;
- 0-2 years of work experience, assisting in the supply chain scope of less complex projects;
- A technical background, which is preferable and beneficial for understanding and managing supply chain processes in a technical environment;
- The ability to independently monitor project progress, report on it, and anticipate potential disruptions.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing;
