About the position of Legal Operations Officer
Are you a legal professional with a passion for smart tooling and innovation? Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to the efficiency and visibility of a Legal department within an international technical organisation? If so, the role of Legal Operations Officer at Huisman may be the perfect fit for you.
What do we expect of you?
As a Legal Operations Officer, you will support the General Counsel and the Legal department in optimising processes and implementing legal technology:
- Implementing and using legal tooling such as Luminance and Co-Pilot, in collaboration with the General Counsel.
- Increasing the visibility and accessibility of the Legal department to the business.
- Handling smaller contracts, such as NDAs, and supporting the business in contract management.
- Contributing to efficiency improvements and process optimisation within the department.
- Taking initiative and independently managing projects to modernise Legal processes.

What do you bring?
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Law or a related field).
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Affinity with AI and legal tooling such as Luminance or comparable platforms.
- Proactive, hands-on, independent and strong communication skills.
- A genuine interest in process improvement and supporting the business.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing;
