What to expect of the Supply Chain Coordinator position within Huisman?

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you play a key role in the successful execution of service projects. Acting as the supply chain representative within the project team, you connect engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and external partners. From the proposal phase through to project close-out, you ensure that materials, components, and services are identified, planned, procured, and delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. With your overview, coordination skills, and proactive mindset, you keep the supply chain under control and contribute directly to project success.

What do we expect of you?

• You take full ownership of the supply chain within service projects, from proposal to close-out.
• You coordinate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, translating project needs into concrete supply chain actions.
• You identify risks early (long-lead items, capacity and logistics) and proactively drive solutions.
• You ensure accurate planning, cost control, and the on-time delivery of materials, components, and services.
• You contribute to continuous improvement, strengthening processes, collaboration, and project execution.

You:

• thrive on ownership and control within complex project environments;
• are naturally curious, collaborative, and proactive when working with diverse stakeholders;
• continuously build and deepen your supply chain knowledge by asking the right questions and listening carefully;
• translate complex information into clear, structured insights and reports that support decision-making;
• quickly spot gaps, risks, or inconsistencies in planning, data, and progress reporting;
• hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or bring equivalent experience in supply chain or project coordination.

• An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing;
