As a Senior Structural Engineer, you play an active role in driving project innovation and further strengthening our Engineering capabilities. 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• defining and safeguarding design assumptions for complex mechanical projects;
• performing FEM modelling and structural calculations for heavy (offshore) systems;
• specifying requirements for purchased components;
• optimising designs with a focus on material efficiency, dimensions and weight, functional lifetime and maintenance;
• supervising and guiding the work of fellow structural engineers.

You are:

• proactive and up to date with the latest developments in your field of expertise;
• an excellent communicator;
• a true team player who enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, while also being able to work independently;
• flexible, creative and solution-oriented;
• client-focused and service-minded;
• practical, accurate and punctual.

You have:

• a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 5–7 years’ experience as a Senior Structural Engineer within heavy
• mechanical engineering, preferably in the offshore or maritime sector;
• a strong affinity with complex mechanical systems;
• the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and to prioritise effectively.

• an EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
• a good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
