About the position of IT Servicedesk Employee

As an IT Servicedesk Employee, you are the first point of contact for IT-related questions and incidents within Huisman. You support end-users both on-site and remotely, ensuring they can work productively and securely with their devices and applications. This role combines customer focus with technical expertise, including device management, Microsoft 365 support, and operational IT tasks. You work closely with IT teams worldwide and play a key role in the daily continuity of our organisation.

What do we expect of you?

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals such as docking stations, monitors and webcams;
  • Support users both on-site and remotely via phone, chat and remote tools;
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets: onboarding, offboarding, tagging, inventory and stock control;
  • Configure and troubleshoot Windows devices, Intune-managed endpoints and software installations;
  • Assist users with Teams, OneDrive, Outlook and other Microsoft 365 applications;
  • Work with ITIL processes for incidents, requests and escalations using an ITSM tool;
  • Support global IT projects with local infrastructure tasks, including installations in MER/SER rooms and meeting room management;
  • Provide “hands-and-eyes” support for the global infrastructure team;
  • Maintain documentation of local networks, servers and installations, and signal issues with WAN circuits, servers or camera systems;
  • Develop and share user guides, FAQs and onboarding instructions, and provide short (virtual) training sessions when needed.

You have:

  • MBO-4 (vocational) level education in IT or higher;
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT servicedesk or support role;
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and ITSM tools such as TOPdesk, ServiceNow or BMC;
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Required certifications and/or knowledge areas:

  • MD-102 Microsoft Endpoint Administrator;
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM) / Agile Scrum mindset;
  • ITIL Foundation;
  • CompTIA Security+;
  • CompTIA A+;
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals;
  • Microsoft Office Certified;
  • Microsoft Operating System Certified;
  • Azure Fundamentals;
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals;
  • Office 365 Modern Desktop Administrator.
